- Alchemy: pot brewing
Pot brewing is open to everyone in Alchemy. Pour and stir at the right time for a better brew. - Backpacks
Backpacks are in. They're satchels you carry for extra room. - The Depths
The Labyrinth has gone and the Depths has taken its place. It's five floors going down under the harbour, with a boss at the bottom of each one. Get in through the same end portal at the harbour, or with /depths (/labyrinth and /maze still work and take you to the same place). - Bedrock and the store
Some store looks can't show on Bedrock yet, so we've stopped them being sold to Bedrock players. - Farming: crop minding on big fields
Frost, dry spells and weeds used to hit a whole bed at once. Each one now lands on 10 to 25% of the plots in that bed, so a big field gets a proper handful to see to. - Sailing: anchored decks
Only the owner of a ship can drop or weigh anchor now. You drop anchor by sneaking off the helm when you are the last one aboard, the ship has stopped and there is no land within 10 blocks. You weigh anchor by taking the helm again. - Town coffer and sale tax
The town now has a coffer, and it pays for events, prizes and giveaways. Type /coffer to see how much is in it, how much it took in this week, where the money came from and what it was last spent on. - Cooking: Herb Tea fix
Uncooked Herb Tea would not go into a furnace, smoker or campfire, so it could never be cooked. That is fixed now and it cooks like every other dish. Any uncooked Herb Tea you are already holding works too, so just put it in a smoker, furnace or campfire. - Bosses are tougher
The bosses were going down in two or three minutes and nobody was dying, which is too easy for what they drop. So every boss now has more health, hits harder, and the domain bosses rest longer between fights. The loot has not changed at all. - Cooking: fish in meals
Trophy and Exceptional size fish can now go in meals. Since the fishing size change earlier today, good gear makes big catches common, so cooking was turning away a lot of everyday fish and that was wrong. - Cooking: common fish in meals
Common fish work in meals again. Since today's fishing changes, better rods make each fish worth more, and Cooking was turning away plenty of plain common fish because their price reached $12, the value of the cheapest uncommon fish. - Librarian and Warp Wizard
The Librarian's enchant book was way out of date. It listed about 100 super enchants, but most of them are switched off and a few don't exist any more. It now shows only the 30 you can actually get. - Fishing: how fish size works now
With a strong rod nearly every fish came out the same size. Your rod, parts and leggings multiplied together came to about double, which pushed almost every catch past the species max, so they all landed on the same limit. Earlier today we lifted that limit, and then nearly every catch set a new record instead. - Fishing: big fish vary again
Today's earlier size change still had a ceiling at 1.35 times a species' max, and strong rods hit it almost every time, so most big catches came out the same size to the millimetre. - Fishing: fish prices shown correctly
The price written on each fish was the full price, before the 60% market rate, so adding them up came to far more than the Fishmonger paid. Selling was always right and nobody lost any coins. Only the number on the fish was wrong. - Scoreboard
Your balance on the sidebar now shows one decimal place. 10,250 shows as 10.2k instead of 10k, and 2,341,054 shows as 2.3M. It rounds down, so it never shows more than you have. - Fishing: bigger fish and calmer Epic fights
Fish sizes had a hard stop at 1.25 times a species' usual max, so with a strong rod every big catch came out the same size and records could not be beaten. Rainbow Trout always landed at 97.5cm, for example. - Gear
Plain vanilla tools, weapons and armour break at zero durability again, the same as in vanilla. Smithed, custom and skinned gear still never breaks, it just waits for a repair. So fix your worn vanilla gear before it runs out. - Mining
Deep Shift is open at the pithead in the harbour. Talk to the foreman and start a shift. You don't need a job, and up to 3 friends can come with /deepshift crew. A shift is 20 minutes in a mine that's dug fresh every time. - Alchemy
I've rebuilt alchemy. You brew at a Still now, which is a cauldron on a lit campfire, and you right click it with an empty hand. One brew fills 3 bottles. The brewing stand is plain vanilla again, and there's a public Still at the harbour. - Smithing
Every strike at the forge is scored for how close it lands to the red centre, and the part gets a score from 0 to 100. Hit the red every time and it's Flawless. - Cooking
Level 1 needs 10% of the normal Cooking XP now, easing back to the full amount by level 15. - Farming
A season lasts 21 real hours, so the whole year takes 84. Every crop has one or two best seasons. In its best season a crop grows 1.25x faster and yields 1.5x. In other seasons it grows at 0.9x and yields 0.7x. In winter, if it isn't a winter crop, it grows at 0.7x and yields 0.4x. - Fishing
Each rod up the Angler's Path makes a real difference to what you catch now.
